Mary Awang Nyijok 32yars old single mother with 7 children living in Aburoc since 2013 when the war broke out in Malakal Town, she became IDP since then lack has not been on her side until this time when one of the community leaders selected her for cash assistant, before she used to get support from the family out in Sudan but it not something constant it can go even up 7months for her to receive money from the supportive family and she try tea business which has failed because of family needs, children need hospital and food was difficult for her to afford. As she was selected, she explained why she needed the money, how she is going to used it “I promised to your team during the registration that I was going to make it happen, and I am trying to make it now using the Cash I received to start some small business. Thank you, may the donors get more, such that you (NRDC) will help others who are desperate like you did to us”, Mary Awang beneficiary for the Multi-Purpose Cash explained the benefits she is reaping from the help she received.
